About Me

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my 6th year of teaching! I am currently teaching Foods & Nutrition and Foods 2 in 'home-style' kitchens in North Dakota! I am a Co-Adviser for our FCCLA chapter! I previously taught Housing and Interior Design and general FACS classes.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My goal as an educator is to continually modify and develop my teaching style! I would say my teaching style is incredibly hands-on! I want my students to understand fundamentals and develop a passion for cooking through their senses!

MY EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Montana State University with every hope and desire to become a school counselor! In the process I fell in love with the kids and found my niche in teaching Family & Consumer Sciences! I graduated with honors from Montana State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Education! My first year teaching I was in a large Montana high school and then moved to North Dakota where I have been teaching high school ever since!
